Description

An attacker able to influence values in RelyingPartyRegistration may be able to run arbitrary code on HTML forms generated by Spring Security filters.

Spring Security:

  • 5.7.0 - 5.7.23
  • 5.8.0 - 5.8.25
  • 6.3.0 - 6.3.16
  • 6.4.0 - 6.4.16
  • 6.5.0 - 6.5.10
  • 7.0.0 - 7.0.5
  • Older, unsupported versions are also affected.

Mitigation

Users of affected versions should upgrade to the corresponding fixed version.
