On behalf of the team and everyone who contributed, I am pleased to announce the next milestone for the new Spring Integration 7.2 minor version. The second milestone has made it to Maven Central.

Some notable changes in 7.2.0-M2:

• The spring-integration-kafka module now provides a KafkaShareMessageDrivenChannelAdapter implementation for the Share Kafka consumer abstraction based on the respective Spring for Apache Kafka foundation. The Java DSL is also provided for this new functionality:

• Support for Apache Derby has been removed following its previous deprecation in Spring Framework.
• Mail Java DSL: Updated Function<MimeMessage, ?> parameters to CheckedFunction, allowing lambdas to throw checked MessagingException directly without try-catch blocks.

• Updated managed dependencies to their latest major and minor releases.
