Spring Boot 4.1.0 available now

On behalf of the team and everyone who has contributed, I'm happy to announce that Spring Boot 4.1.0 has been released and is now available from Maven Central.

This release includes a number of improvements, new features and dependency upgrades. It also includes all of the bug fixes, documentation improvements and security fixes from Spring Boot 4.0.7.

Highlights from this release include:

  • Spring gRPC support.
  • Updated Jackson configuration properties and customization support.
  • HTTP Client SSRF Mitigation with InetAddressFilter.
  • Multiple updates related to observability, include updated OpenTelemetry support.
  • File Rotation Support for Log4j.
