On behalf of the community and everyone who has contributed, it's my pleasure to announce that Spring REST Docs 2.0.4.RELEASE is available from Maven Central, JCenter, and our release repository. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this release by reporting bugs and opening pull requests.

This maintenance release includes a small number of fixes and documentation improvements. It is a recommend upgrade for all Spring REST Docs 2.x users.

Spring Framework 5.1.10 available now

On behalf of the team and everyone who has contributed, I am pleased to announce that Spring Framework 5.1.10 is available now.

Spring Framework 5.1.10 includes 35 fixes and selected improvements.

Next week is going to be quite busy release-wise with Spring Framework 5.2 GA followed by a number of spring projects going GA as well. We'll also have the first release candidate of Spring Boot 2.2, stay tuned!

Spring Boot for Apache Geode & Pivotal GemFire 1.2.0.M3 Released

On behalf of the Spring and Apache Geode communities, it is my pleasure to announce the release of Spring Boot for Apache Geode & Pivotal GemFire (SBDG) 1.2.0.M3.

SBDG 1.2.0.M3 continues to be based on the same bits as the 1.2.0.M2 release: primarily:

  • Spring Framework 5.2.0.RC2

  • Spring Boot 2.2.0.M6

  • Spring Data Moore-RC3

  • Spring Session Corn-M4

  • Spring Test for Apache Geode & Pivotal GemFire (STDG) 0.0.8.RELEASE

The SBDG 1.2.0.M3 bits may be acquired from the Spring Milestone Repository as well as Spring Initializer.

Spring Session Corn-M4

The Corn-M4 release is based on:

  • Spring Session core modules 2.2.0.M4

  • Spring Session Data MongoDB 2.2.0.RC2

What’s New

On behalf of the community, I’m excited to announce the availability of Spring Vault 2.2 M1. This release ships with over 90 fixed tickets in total, containing several features, bug fixes, and dependency upgrades.

The most notable new changes are:

  • Support for PCF-based authentication by using instance identity certificates.

  • Kotlin extensions.

  • Builders for RestTemplate and WebClient to customize interceptors, filter functions, and default headers.

  • Vault namespace support (Vault Enterprise edition only).

  • @VaultPropertySource now supports versioned key-value backends.

  • Added listener and events support to LifecycleAwareSessionManager.

On behalf of the team and everyone that contributed, I am pleased to announce that the sixth milestone of Spring Boot 2.2 has been released and is available from our milestone repository. This release contains over 140 issues and pull requests.

Our next 2.2 release will be RC1 later this month with GA to follow in mid-October. If you haven't already done so, now is a great time to try a 2.2 milestone and provide us with your feedback.
