Spring for GraphQL 1.3.0 Released

I'm pleased to announce the release of Spring for GraphQL 1.3.0. In addition to the M1 and the RC1 releases, the final release adds the following features:

  • Virtual thread support for controller methods.
  • GraphQL over WebSocket authentication via "connect_init" message.
  • Interceptors in WebSocketGraphQlTester.
  • Kotlin Flow as controller method return value.

Spring Session 3.3 goes GA

On behalf of the Spring Session team and everyone who contributed to this release, I am delighted to announce the general availability of Spring Session 3.3.0 from Maven Central!

The 3.3 release brings:

  • Spring Session Backed implementation of ReactiveSessionRegistry (docs)
  • Add ReactiveRedisIndexedSessionRepository (docs)
  • Allow PlatformTransactionManager to be specified using @SpringSessionTransactionManager (docs)
  • Improvements in the JDBC documentation

This release will be included in the upcoming Spring Boot 3.3 GA release. We'd like to hear from you, so keep the feedback coming.

Spring AMQP 3.0.14 and 3.1.5 Available

On behalf of the team and everyone who contributed, I am pleased to announce Spring AMQP 3.0.14 and 3.1.5 are generally available now from Maven Central.

These patch releases contain a few minor features, enhancements and bug fixes. Please see the release notes 3.0.14 and release notes 3.1.5 for more details.

The 3.0.x branch has reached its End of Life for Open Source support. The next 3.0.15 version will be released only under Commercial license in August.

We also are looking to start 3.2 generation for upcoming November release train based on work-in-progress Spring Framework 6.2.

Spring for Apache Pulsar 1.1.0 available now

The Spring Web Services team has released 4.0.11 which adds updates to springframwork to 6.0.20 and includes community contributions to improve JMS tests and Wss4jHandler.

Spring Data 2024.0 goes GA

On behalf of the Spring Data engineering team and everyone who contributed to this release, I am delighted to announce the general availability of Spring Data 2024.0 from Maven Central! This release comes with major driver upgrades and refinements in individual store modules.

A major enhancement is support for Value Expressions in mapping and @Value (constructor) annotations. Value Expressions support obtaining values from Configuration Properties in addition to SpEL expressions.

Spring Data MongoDB 2024.0 has upgraded its MongoDB driver dependency compatibility to MongoDB driver 5. You can still downgrade to an older 4.x (such as 4.11
